2026 Iron Challenge

GOLF SIM LEAGUE RULES ( 2026 Iron challenge ) 200$

  • Course of week needs to be played before sunday at 4pm to be counted for that week
  • ALL COURSES ARE PAR 3 VERSIONS OF THE COURSE STATED ON EXCEL
  • No shows will tie in last place ( one sub player per season )
  • Championship will have top 6 players compete for championship on Top O Rock on gspro for 200-500$ (depending on participants) tie during championship will be a replay of 19 at Payne Valley
  • Top 6 players will be staggered starting scores depending on final season scores

Rules

  • Stroke play
  • All strokes counted that are picked up on sim
  • All balls that are OB or hazards that ask for a drop must be rehit from original location ( a tee shot OB needs to be re-hit, a chip into the water over the green needs to be re-hit from original location)
  • Putt until you are inside 6ft gimmie range or in the hole
  • Verify with employee score before leaving post in binder ( standings posted weekly on facebook )
  • Courses and points layout on excel sheet*
  • Non Handicap league 

WHEN AND HOW TO PLAY

  • Weeks course can be played any day during the week course is open
  • Week starts monday at 9am ends sunday 4pm ( Week 1 Jan 5-11 The Braken)
  • May have one sub play per season
  • Book your hour if you’re playing alone or multiple hours if playing with friends online at Golfpleasantvalley.net under the indoor rates tab at anytime!

Scoring

  • 7 regular season weeks worth 100 pts 
  • 3 Majors worth 250 pts (winner of major will get (1) 9 hole and a cart ticket for 2026 )
  • Point layout on excel sheet *** point breakdown is with 50 people it will be updated to final headcount

Pace

  • Should take 50 mins per person to play par 3 course with 10 min warmup

Equipment

  • Clean balls only
  • Soft spikes or sneakers ( just clean and dry from outside snow)
  • Simulator tees

GSPRO SETTINGS

  • Par 3 tee
  • No mulligans
  • Stimp course setting
  • 6ft gimmie
  • Pins sunday
  • Wind breezy

Ties

  • In season ties will combine points for finishing position and distribute evenly
  • Championship tie breaker will be the 19th at payne valley highest score eliminated until winner
